Lakeside , CA 92040
Join ILACSD as we team up with the County of San Diego and the Lakeside River Park Conservancy for a litter cleanup at “The Cathedral” area of Los Coches Creek in Lakeside! We will be performing a litter cleanup around the surrounding neighborhoods to divert waste from the San Diego watershed and maintain a lovely Lakeside!
We will have cleanup supplies, snacks, and water. We also provide community service hours and Letters of Appreciation for volunteers. This is a great opportunity for students and families to learn ways to protect our local environment!
We encourage volunteers to bring their own reusable items such as water bottles, work gloves, and buckets to promote zero waste practices and help us in our mission to have a zero waste, litter free and environmentally engaged San Diego region!

Tax File Recycling Program
5165 Convoy Street
San Diego, CA 92111
2017 Tax File Recycling Week is April 19-26
To help San Diegans recycle outdated tax files, the City of San Diego Environmental Services Department and Allan Co. host an annual Tax File Recycling Program every April.
During the week-long event, the City's Miramar Recycling Center provides secure containers in which residents can drop off old files. At the conclusion of the program, the files are shredded and recycled at an off-site location.
The Tax File Recycling Program is FREE for City of San Diego residents only. Residential (not business) tax files will be accepted by Allan Co., which operates the Miramar Recycling Center.
